2. 我们如何使用这些信息

3. 第三方服务提供商

为提供语音与 AI 能力，我们会将必要的数据发送给以下技术服务商，仅限当次处理所需的最少数据：

  • 豆包（火山引擎，字节跳动）：语音合成（TTS）与语音识别（ASR）。
  • DeepSeek：AI 文本内容生成。

上述服务商仅按"处理者"身份处理您的数据，不用于其自身的商业目的。

4. Cookie 与本地存储

  • 我们不使用任何第三方追踪 Cookie、广告 SDK 或分析工具。
  • 浏览器 localStorage 仅用于记住您的昵称、头像与访问码，您可以随时在浏览器设置中清除。

5. 数据安全

所有通信均通过 HTTPS/WSS 加密传输。房间内的聊天内容仅存于内存且会话即毁，从设计上降低数据泄露风险。

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how PurlChat ("we", "us") handles your information. Our core design principle is no data retention: unless explicitly stated, we do not store, sell, or use any chat content from your rooms.

1. Information We Collect

  • Nickname & avatar: Provided voluntarily when you enter a room. Stored only in your browser's localStorage for display during the session. We do not upload them to our servers.
  • Voice & text input: Your speech and text messages are used only for real-time transcription and AI replies in the current session. They are held only in server memory and destroyed when the session ends or the server restarts. They are never written to any database or log.
  • Technical data: For security purposes, your IP address may be briefly logged (used for abuse prevention and access control). It is not retained long-term and is not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use This Information

  • Solely to operate the service: speech recognition, AI conversation generation, speech synthesis, and room broadcasting.
  • Never for ad targeting, selling, renting, or sharing with third parties (except the technical providers listed below).
  • Never used to train AI models, ours or any third party's.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

To provide voice and AI capabilities, we may send the minimum necessary data to:

  • Doubao (Volcano Engine, ByteDance): speech synthesis (TTS) and speech recognition (ASR).
  • DeepSeek: AI text generation.

These providers act as processors only and do not use your data for their own purposes.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

  • We use no third-party tracking cookies, no advertising SDKs, and no analytics tools.
  • Browser localStorage is used only to remember your nickname, avatar, and access code. You may clear it anytime in your browser settings.

5. Data Security

All communication is encrypted via HTTPS/WSS. Room chat content lives only in memory and is destroyed with the session, reducing data-breach risk by design.

6. Children's Privacy

This service is intended for users aged 13 and older (US COPPA compliant). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
